Ford still is at Brigend and every month my uni gets 3 or 4 massive packing cases of ex test engines, 2.0, 1.6, 1.25 zetecs, duratecs. ect. we also get similar from jag (loads of 4 litre v8, N/A and supercharged) and honda (v6 preludes and vtecs ect!) but they wont let anyone take anything home. i was dicking about with a zetec on the engine dyno yesterday and on the dyno next to me was a fiat twin cam with abarth cam lids running a turbo and intercooler on fully mapped injection!! who wants to help me break in tonight?

They have the Manic Street Preachers, we have Travis! And they have Gilberns, lightweight fibreglass with dirty great Essex V6 engines, we have Hillman Imps! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

How could you possibly have forgotten?! ;D Weren't they built at Linwood too? Not in the same factory, but to my knowlege there was a factory in Glasgow making them. Linwood also made some Avengers and Sunbeam Talbots too.
