The hard top is for a 6' bed - this truck has an 8' bed, so no good, sadly.

It is nice. I thought being a modern it would be fairly innocuous but it turns heads and for some reason kids love it. So much more fun to drive than my company car.

TBH I kept seeing this on ebay, really like it. Mrs wants me to get another truck but I wouldn't be able to get through the barrier into our works car park with LHD lol. |

I had to go to a seminar at a hotel and took this as I was dropping stuff for the '63 to the powder coaters. There was much laughter from my colleagues when I slid across the seat to get the ticket from the barrier. It's been on eBay twice now and 'sold' - followed by the same old story of buyers not showing up. I don't mind people having a change of heart but I wish they'd say so. The other half is mad at me for putting it up for sale so maybe I'll keep it, drop it (I'm itching to lower it!) and continue to enjoy. Thing is, I have an '89 l6 with a 5 speed that is demanding the same attention, the '63 is WIP, what can a man do?! |
