Mrs Retro's yaris is up for sale. Mum called yesterday to say they are collecting a new Auris hybrid on Thursday so we are having their 13 plate yaris. Otherwise we would be keeping this one.......
This is a silver 5 door 998cc manual yaris with 80886 miles on the clock.Mot until september 2016. Mum had it for 8-9 years then we had it in 2011. Top of the range CDX spec with built in toyota satnav (pretty bling for 1999). tilt/slide sunroof. CD player, aircon, sexy grey on grey velour trim. This car is rumoured to be a '99 British Motor show car, but can't confirm (high spec and unsual 'yaris side graphics).
Everything works, but the alloys have the typical toyota scab issue and the tyres need replacing (lots of tread but signs of ageing). front and rear bumper have parking scuffs, and usual compliment of parking dings and stone chips. No crash damage or repainted panels. If the tyres and alloys were better and bumpers less scuffed, i'd be after £800,so it's priced for a quick sale.
New battery 4 years ago, new rear shocks last year, new exhaust last year, brake flush and coolant refresh 2 years ago, coolant sensor this year, front brake pads done earlier this year.
engine has a camchain due at 125k
Oil and filter to be done monday morning.
Gets 51mph pootling around and about 42-44 on the motorway.
