Hi guys,
As the title says, I'm selling my 1992 Eunos Roadster import with the 115bhp 1.6 engine and finished in white. The engine has 120km on the clock (hasn't been converted) and runs fantastic. It has recently had a service, apart from the air filter which is a cheap mushroom filter. No strange noises, smoke, over heating, etc. Since I've had the car (approx four years) I've replaced the thermostat and flushed the whole system out and replaced with distilled water and anti-freeze, de-catted and straight thru pipe and backbox installed, rear suspension replaced with good used items, replacement of the gear lever boot, knuckle (genuine mazda kit) and fluid replaced, diff fluid replaced and the brakes were changed about a year ago.
On the outside the bodywork is in quite good condition, but does have a few small areas of corrosion. It hasn't taken over like most MX5/Euno's for sale but it is there. There is a patch that has been put on the sill before my ownership too which isn't exactly pretty looking, but it's solid. The car also comes with a hard top in silver. The hard top is in good condition but has a few bubbles here and there. I have new frankenstin bolts fitted and I have Jass Performance hard top brackets for the sides as they are more stable and secure. The vinyl soft top is in good condition, fits well and goes up/down faultless. There are a few small marks on the plastic screen, but it's nothing major. On the car currently are original steel wheels with tyres that are legal, but are nearly at the end of their life. I also have a set of original BBS 14" alloys with tyres but missing the centre caps. I do have some centre caps from an E30 but I haven't tried the fitment yet.
The interior is in good condition but showing a few signs of wear. The seat has had the foam removed (common mod) and there are a few areas of wear and a cigarette burn. Carpet is a bit worn but is a red limited edition one. The electric windows were playing up as well but this was sorted with a new switch.
Righto, pictures. I can't take any at the moment, so I will stick one up from a while ago, but aim to get some very soon.
Overall, this car is a great car. If it doesn't sell, I won't be heartbroken, the only reason I am selling it is I'm wanting to upgrade my Saab 9-5 to a stage three. I'm looking for £1200ono including the hard top and the BBS alloys and with 12 months MOT (it is currenty out of MOT). I could also be tempted with a p/x (with money my way) or a swap for something interesting.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. The car has been around on the forum a few times with previous owners (I'm the third from Retro Rides).
I am located about 10 minutes from either M6 J5, J6, J7 or M42 J9 in Sutton Coldfield.
