Hillman Husky estate car with amazing potential. Really solid underneath, body is tatty or has great patina - depends on your point of view! Runs and drives but brakes need work. Interior is in decent shape. Has been off the road since July 1987 Great project - belongs to a friend who doesn't have internet access. Open to sensible offers 01594 562654

To be honest it has a hole. The owner does have some repair panels that he may sell with it. Its really solid underneath though. If someone had cash pretty sure an offer would get it

Oh my god I need this!! I need to sell a car ASAP or take out a loan lol. My pal has one as a daily and is MUCH rougher than this and he'd die if I pulled up in this haha.
What's the crack with the logbook, mileage, previous owners, any history, spares? Also can you get a list of any available panels?
You're not too far from me at all so if you've got a number you could PM me and I'll come view it tomorrow or the weekend?
Thanks, Pedro

Yes matey. I saw ALL of the cars, very impressive collection!
I left an offer on this, the Oxford and the Cresta and I'm just waiting for Alan to get back to me.
For anyone genuinely interested - The husky is 80% solid/brand new but where it's rusty it's gone gone. Still, the troublesome areas are solid, electrics work, interior is great with original rubber mats, engine is an absolute gem & starts and runs like a clock. Clutch feels a little high but still grabs nicely. I left what I felt was a practical offer and Bernie said he'd been made a higher offer but if it falls through he'll get back to me :-)

Sounds good there may still be a deal to be had then hopefully. Allan has had the cars for a long time and like a lot of older owners finds it hard to part with them. Don't think he will ever finish half of them though. Hope you get a deal on the Oxford and the Cresta as they both should be saved.

Well I've since bought two other cars now as I hadn't heard anything back from Allan or Bernie but you can see why I wanted the Husky now, my Pal's got two and another one on the way! Lol. This was at my unit yesterday rearranging for the arrival of 2x 1955 100e Anglia's
