I'm liking the bluegrass and country streams on my iTunes at the moment. Genuine Kentucky and Louisianna radio stations right here in Cirencester.
Love the ads and stuff too... aahh the deep deep south

Six Music is brill! I've just got myself a DAB receiver for home, just so I can listen to it - at last a station playing decent new music as well as some cultured old stuff

Normally I flick about radio stations looking for whatever good music comes to hand, and if it's all naff I shove Generation Terrorists (Manics) or The Head On The Door (The Cure) or something in the casette/CD player, depending on what motor is on hand. Some of that tracklisting sounds pretty good mind you, The Jam, Sex Pistols, The Zutons, and like Nick I'm kind of into Soulwax just now too!

We went to see the Zutons earlier this year at our favourite little 'grungy' venue in Northampton - before they really had any radio play. We hadn't heard of them at the time but they were on an equal billing with 'Dogs Die in Hot Cars' The Zutons blew us away, they were so musical & the songs were really memorable, Dogs Die in Hot Cars were a bit of a let down as they played afterwards.
After the gig we got talking to the Zuton's lead singer - he seemed suprised at our enthusiasm over their tour bus - a T25 'Wedgy' bus. They had brought it cos it had a BIG 'Z' down the side!
I'm looking forward to seeing the Beta Band next Friday on their 'swan song' tour before they disperse.

Odd, the next batch on today's minidisc selection is The Zutons. (Currently No Doubt, also The Libertines and Chilli Peppers Californication on today's playlist - I need it to drown out the sound of some of the more obnoxious and loud gobshites in the office today. ) Recently I saw that Flamed Humber Hawk driven my (i think) 80's Matchbox B Line Disaster driving round Regents Park. C 8-)l!
