I'm selling my P6, which I've decided to move on as it's pressurising the cooling system and I can't get to the bottom of it. I thought it was drawing air into the system so recently replaced all the hoses with new oem stock, new jubilee clips, thermostat and radiator cap but it's still doing it. These things aren't the easiest to bleed but I've tried it about 8 different way and it's still doing it so I'm starting to suspect one of the head gaskets is leaking at the exhaust side. There's no water in the oil. I've not dip tested the coolant or compression tested. i does runs nicely and there's no misfire.
The car is very solid underneath but it needs work to the rear door bottoms and the front of the wings need a bit of work. There interior is black leather and in nice shape other than a split in the drivers seat.
The gear selector trim is missing for some reason. I replaced the gearbox sump gasket and I recon I over tightened it and nipped the new gasket as it still leaks. I changed the fluid at the time and the gearbox works well. The rear bumper isn't the best as when I bought it didn't have any bumpers so had to take the first set I could get my hands on so I could get it on the road.
Other than the cooling issue it drives well, has plenty of power. A lot of them are rot boxes but this other than a few exterior bits is solid so a would be good base for a project.
It starts and drive and you're more than welcome to come and have a look at it. It starts for loading purposes but if you're driving any more than 5 miles then I'd bring a trailer.
I'm a bit gutted to be getting rid but realistically I've no time to fix it.
I'd maybe swap or PX.
