Model: 1965 Beetle, and 1972 Fastback
MOT: Feb 2017 Beetle, June 2016 Fastback
Tax: Both exempt
Location: Minster, Kent (ME12 postcode)
Price: £3500 Beetle, £1950 Fastback
Up for grabs here are two of my cars, a 1965 Beetle, and a 1972 Fastback. Let me start by saying, I brought both of these recently. The Beetle was bought as a keeper, and the Fastback as a fixer-upper to stop me getting bored. I never intended to sell either of these so soon, but I've been offered the chance to buy back one of my old cars, hence the sale. If that car sells, I will be keeping the Beetle and working on the Fastback.
Right, that said, first up the Beetle.
I brought this a couple of months back from a VW mechanic. I was looking for a solid, useable RHD pre '67 bug, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It has MOT til Feb 2017, and passed with no advisories. It failed at the time on an indicator that went on the way to the MOT station, apart from that all was good.
The car is lowered all round, and is fitted with a 2" narrowed beam. It runs a good 1200, with twin 34ICTs. Bullet indicators fitted, stainless steel bumpers, tidy interior. I'd say in it's time its been loved and had a fair bit of money spent on it. It currently runs flat paint. I like it, some won't, but it wouldn't take much to sort it out if you wanted to repaint.
Can be supplied with a set of Radars for £3500, or £3300 without.
