So had our meeting with the wedding planner and my weddings going to cost a bit more than planned
This, coupled with that I have more cars than I can manage or have space for, I've decided that only 2 out of the 5 cars can stay. So Proton, Escort and Porsche have got to go.
First Off
1991 Proton Aeroback (pre mpi) 12v 1.3GL. Only has 57k on the clock and drives really well. When I got it, it had 2 coils cut out of the springs which was wayyyyyy too much as it hit the sump on pretty much every bump in the road. I managed with great difficulty to source 4 new springs of the correct height and had these fitted. The bodywork is pretty much unmarked and the interior is true giffer spec brown tweed which is in mint condition right down to the original Blaupunkt radio cassette.
It comes with 5x steels with tyres and 5x mitsubshi charisma alloys. All of the alloys have good tread but 3x need the beading redone as they leak air. Also have a complete set of proton wheel trims and complete set of original GE spec silver centre caps.
The only bad point is that the clutch has started to slip but can be driven and have done 15 miles like this, just haven't been flooring it.
Its got MOT till 12th August 2016 but it has no rot and can't see any reason why it won't fly through the next.
Not asking the earth for it and just want it to go to a good home.
