	Hi all, There is a coolant pipe that runs round the engine head of my Renault and it's rusted so it is now leaking. I did a quick fix with some chemical metal and have sourced another pipe from a scrapyard. It appears that Renault no longer make the pipe and whilst the 2nd hand pipe I have sourced is whole it is a bit rusted. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the replacement pipe last longer? Any kind of anti rust treatment that can be used? Thanks in advance.

	Can you put up some pictures and diameters of the pipe, you may be able to make one up in copper using plumbing fittings. Have just done this for a breather pipe from a fuel tank that was rusted to oblivion

	Thanks. Hadn't actut thought about making my own. Problem is that the pipe includes bracketery to attach to the engine so that might be a bit tricky. I'm a bit of a way from the garage at the moment but I'll try to get a picture over the weekend.
