Reluctantly being offered for sale as my mk3 xr3 project is now ready for the paint shop (£4000 bill looming ) Escort 1.6 Ghia Auto, very rare early C plate car finished in Paris Blue Metallic, this was a 1 year only colour on the mk4 so is a very rare motor, only 21000 miles form new with history and bills, the car has had some paint over the years but no welding, all panels appear original, it was owned by an elderly gent for many many years, he coated the underside with grease, old school rust proofing, done the trick very nicely, it's still running on the vv carb with auto choke working perfectly, i have history and bills plus MOT's listed below

The interior is nice but the dash is faded, i believe the car had long periods in the garage but it had windows, there is some shrinkage on the door cards too, nothing unsightly but best mentioned, it has the original radio cassette, unused cigarette lighter and ash tray, electric windows, electric mirrors, heated front screen, mint sunroof, spare unused, i'll add some interior pics tomorrow, my number is 07921 089233 if anyone wants to call, Dave.
