Does anyone know where I could get New shocks for a '58 100e
Can't seem to get any through my usual sources and appear to be somewhat of a poor quality wobbly children's play pony item...

Car SOS were restoring a very early Cortina on one show, they called into a shop in Heathrow which specialised in classic car parts but did seem to favour Ford. A run down old shop, it was a total Aladdin's Cave, (they have since relocated to new premises in Egham), there was room dedicated to gaskets, a room for brake drums, a room for seals, etc. he had original factory exhausts from the 1960's which were brand new with the stickers on. I think they were looking for a specific seal and the owner went straight to a dusty old box on a shelf & found it, when he was asked how he knew it was there he said "Well I put it there 30 years ago and I knew I hadn't moved it." I'm guessing the prices aren't going to be bargain basement but I think they'd probably have them in stock. Collectors Car Parts
