Hi Guys
I`m in need of a set of 165/55/14 tyres for a project but they seem really rare the only ones i can find are Nankang and Hifly neither of which i can get from any local Tyre fitters,
Does anyone know of any other brands that do this size?
Cheers Adrian

I`m in need of a set of 165/55/14 tyres... I often try different size of tyres, something near but not exactly what you asked for might be fine. Any reason why you specifically need that size?

Hi I`m fitting 14x6 wheels to my car which runs 155/65/13`s at the moment and 165/55/14 gives the closest rolling diameter to them with enough width for the 6j rim without stretch, Its a really popular tyre size in Japan and is used on Kei cars running 14" wheels Cheers Adrian

You're talking 8mm difference overall between a 165/55 and a 165/60. 4mm on the rolling radius. Possibly less between varying brands. For the hassle findig 165/55 as opposed to 165/60 which are VERY common even as part worn as they stock ford KA fitment, I'd just go with the latter. Here's a pic of 165/60 on a 14x6 rim. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v617/dezaster/115/file_zpshmemrljr.jpg)

Cheers Adrian
