It's been decided, the decal isn't going on. Many internet people have said it looks better without. The truck is almost finished, if anyone wants to make an offer on it, now is the time. Use the PM feature if serious. We're hoping to get it out to the big car show next week where it's likely to be sold there.
I have already begun the search for another one and something was just dropped in the driveway last night....

Another Truck magically appeared after my wife Jamie found it on the internet. She text me the advert and I pounced on it like a tiger on a gay magician: This one was SO CHEAP I could not pass it up. Yes- it has a hole in the block. I'll get another motor somewhere, later. I'm on the hunt for another international truck, but I have time to search for the "right one".

Jesus you are fast. In the time you've done 2 of these I have done an engine service and painted my bonnet black... Very in awe.

The center cap on the steel wheels is huge. The Aluminum rims, I'll measure them for you but I think they're 64mm or something. I'll check. The Durango and Ram 1500 rims are 5x5.5 or 5 lug 5.5 inch or 139.7mm Medium Offset. Cheers it was the steel wheel centres I meant but I can't use a set at 139.7mm. Pickup looks great any way!

It has headlights! I still have to install the front turn signals, have two AC lines made and charge the system to see if it all works, put a battery box in the bed and a few other very small details. This one really close to being done. I'm hoping to get it out on the road by the end of the week.

This battery box cost exactly $7.48 at the second hand thrift store. I sanded it, painted it, stenciled it and that's that. A fine new Marine battery and she fires up instantly. I had a hard time finding a tool box that was exactly right, and right when I needed it, so I went with the Dynamite box instead. I like it.

While in principle I approve, in today's world I would not dare have the High Explosives stencil on the box. Somebody is going to take that seriously.

A nice young man from southern Ohio was passing through on his way home, he had just picked up a Durango in New York and saw my ad for Durango parts. He was towing it home, stopped at my house and bought the tailgate, both front doors, a section of sill and the bonnet for a really good price. I was happy, he's happy and now I have a partially stripped gold colored Durango in the driveway! I'll have to get that body off and the chassis parked 'round back. I'll get on that task tomorrow possibly.
