Converted to Corsa B manual steering(quickest ratio rack available) FK coilovers on front, lowering springs & shocks on rear WILL BE SAT ON ORIGINAL 5-SPOKE ALLOYS, BANDED STEELS SHOWN NOT INCLUDED IN SALE Astra GTE steering wheel fitted(no column cowling, needs one from a non-airbag Corsa) Boost gauge on passenger side of dash MOT NOW TILL MARCH 2017 Bad bits- Lots of scratches and dings in various places, dent in osf wing and some rust bubbles on rear arches. Speedo not connected Included in price is a new pair of Meriva 280mm discs and used Vectra calipers with new pafs to cobble together a big brake upgrade I can put back on standard suspension to make a little cheaper if required as still have it all and it never drove too bad like that :-) Price is £725OVNO, It's not a common car and this one is a bit special ;-) great on fuel when driven gentle and goes like the clappers when not gentle! Ooh! I suspect that this might suit me down to the ground.
As a matter of interest, is it correctly registered detailing the engine/fuel change? As a vehicle that never existed, is it easy/cheap to insure? I've no experience of running 'modern' cars with these kind of mods - only old stuff (when you're my age, a Tigra is a modern car lol)...

The engine swap has yet to be registered(was originally a 1.4). I had intended to test run it then do the nessesary paperwork changes but honestly plain forgot about it! I have all the details of the donor car still and technically there shouldn't be any problems with changing it over purely down to it essentially being a Corsa in a frock anyway(it was an easy conversion in essence of actually fitting the engine&box)

The fact that the V5C doesn't reflect the changes might be putting folk off to be honest mate - it does me.

I like the idea of this,my standard 1.4 derv fiesta drives and handles well enough with its whopping 68 bhp...
I'd imagine that a car with nearly twice that bhp, and I'd expect, much better handling will be great fun.

Cool little car right there. It would be a real shame to break it.
Have a bump so hopefully you don't have to. GLWTS.

I'm very surprised this didn't sell at £500, seems a steal really.

Well it's still around and in one piece! Work and other commitments kinda got in the way of my plans for this until today so one more attempt to move this on then to ebay it'll probably go. Sat on its original wheels and suspension Anyone?? It's breaking my heart to let it go but I have other plans I wish to get on with and this is first in line

Ditto, had you sent the paperwork off, you'd have probably got it back by now. The DVLA really don't take that long if you fill out their forms in english they can read, rather than writing like you local GP (i.e. ilegible scribble). I would have been genuinely interested in this, had it been correctly registered. As it is there is no way to legally insure and drive the car on the road, which as a car makes it pretty useless.

Thanks for that. If I'd known it would still be here now then I'd have sent it off....but alas I can't see the future. As for being illegal to insure and drive......hmmm
