Hi Guys. I'm looking to move on my 1.6 estate. Reason for sale is that I'm kidding myself with an estate as it's a late saloon i want, and I've just been offered a rare set of 1993 Dymag BTCC wheels, if you get where I'm going with that one. I need to free up some space to start that project so this is one of the thing s that need to go.
I bought it stolen/recovered initially as a donor for my Maestro van project. It needs a lockset and igntion cowl, a windscreen and a NSR door as it was bent to gain entry at the time of theft. There is currently a door on ebay for £20. Other than that it has a crack in the rear bumper, the headlining needs doing, there is some filler in a dent in the NSF wing and it needs general light restoration due to surface bubbling on the arches and sills but it has no rot. It has 27k miles on it, believed genuine without a doubt. It runs sweet as a nut every now and then the idle hangs around 1800rpm so there maybe an issue with the auto-choke, the underside is in remarkable condition hence why I decided against using it as a donor, no rot or corrosion. I recently drove it from Sheffield to Hope in the Peak District to put it in storage and it was great.
I have a new rear bumper and a new front wing, both OE, that I will include for another £50 (the wing alone cost me that). I have the full logbook.
I'm looking for £150ono.
I thought I had some pictures on my laptop, but i don't so they must be on my phone, which I dropped the other night! It is essentially identical to this one
