FULL service history (all MB or specialist)
A well-presented example of this dependable and sought-after classic car, which drives beautifully and has been maintained meticulously. I’ll spare the usual ‘last of the real Mercedes’ and ‘hewn from granite’ spiel – if you’re reading this advert you know what these cars are about!
The car has a FULL service history with all accompanying paperwork, and a fully stamped service book showing services approximately every 6,000 miles from new. All servicing has been carried out by either Mercedes main dealers or independent specialists. The car has just been serviced on 17th March, and has barely been used since, so it is ready to go for the next 6,000 miles. In addition to the regular servicing regime, the car has had a new radiator, new engine mounts and a new alternator in recent times.
The specification includes cream cloth upholstery, additional rear-facing seats, load cover and luggage guard net, central locking, electric windows (x4), electric mirror (x1), electric tilt & slide sunroof, illuminated sun visors, puddle lights, outside temperature display, roof rails and roof protection strips, alloy wheels (x5), headlamp wash/wipe and more.
The car is equipped with air conditioning and cruise control, but neither was working when I bought the car and neither troubled me enough to fix them. Under close inspection you will find small imperfections inside and out. It's not concours standard, but it is extremely tidy for its age.
It should be noted that the sunroof works perfectly in all directions, and the panoramic windscreen wiper is still in good working order. A Sony stereo is fitted along with new speakers front and rear (of the correct size), and Osram nightbreaker bulbs improve the headlights noticeably.
The car also benefits from genuine new front wings, as well as remedial work to the problematic rear side window areas, all done to a high standard. As a result all four arches are rust free. The jacking points are also in great condition.
There have been no pets in the car, and it has not been smoked in. Feel free to ask questions, I've probably missed something. I'll happily talk about this car all day long! I'm also happy to provide more pictures of specific areas if required. I have loads more anyway, these are just a selection.
