	I have a Mk1 Golf with no audio what so ever, now i will happily have a go but electrics confuse me and i don't want to ruin anything so would rather get someone who knows what they are doing. Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks Toby

	TBh the wiring in these is pretty straight forward for the stereo. Have a look at vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&type=view&id=201200 vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=electrics_2%2Fanyone-know-what-these_4 vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=technical%2Felectrics_2%2Fstereo-wiring If the original wiring is still in there you can get a harness connector to run from VAG to the standard ISO (i presume your not fitting an original head unit) this kind of thing www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT20VW03-VW-Golf-Upto-2004-Stereo-Radio-Wiring-Harness-Adaptor-ISO-Looom-Lead-/351718918983?fits=Model%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+II&hash=item51e414cb47:g:HPYAAOSwtUtXA70C Where are you in Surrey? There is a good audio place in Byfleet near Brooklands.

There is a good audio place in Byfleet near Brooklands. Thanks for the reply. I think i would prefer someone else who knows what their doing do it rather than me hash away at it! I had a look when i first got the car and couldn't see any existing wiring, the speaker cables are there but in terms of the headunit i couldn't see anything. I am from Leatherhead so not far at all from Brooklands
