Is it worth buying my stolen car back to repair and sell?

If you want to keep it go for it if not i don't think it's worth it TBH, is it recorded ? i take it not as you are paying for storage not the insurance company?
if it is recorded it will sell for less after repair, take that into account.
Not knowing the damage either i'm guessing,,,, unless it was key started the steering lock will be broken (new top column/SL housing at the least) and the wiring on the rear of the switch will be pulled appart and wired to start it, steering lock shrouds will be smashed off as well no doubt.
As to hwat they may or may not have done to the drive train when they drove it like they stole it who knows ?

If you had an emotional attachment to it and wanted to keep it, the money doesn't really come into it. As a commercial proposition, you would be doing well to break even on it.

Hi, The charge to release the car from the pound is £210, the Ins co should pay that as part of the claim. As you had the car stolen so shortly after buying and insuring it they should pay market value which should be what you paid for it. So it depends how much they want for the salvage and what sort of condition it's in. You could part it out?. You only had it for a week so you can't be that attached to it because you're talking about selling it already. So take the money and walk away, go find another car.
