I am sad to see this old girl go, its a tough one for me as she has been superb. Very reliable and can easily be an interesting daily driver for someone. I'm sure whoever takes her away will fall for her charms!
I purchased the car from Gumtree about 6 months ago from an older chap the other side of Glasgow. He was a bus driver and the car was used for occasional trips at the weekend. She has good history with 21 stamps and some receipts etc all there. The last owner looked after her well but the service book was full and he serviced it himself. Upon purchase I had it fully checked over and very surprisingly it was in great looked after condition. I have started a new service booked and had her serviced/mot'd when I bought her.
Everything in the car works, even the Air Con and Sunroof! I have spent a little of my own time fixing little niggly bits and bobs but she's pretty damn solid. Bodywork is much better than the norm with maybe the rear passenger wing under the electric aerial showing the most signs, but its solid. The arches are all very good with one extremely minor bubbles showing on 1 or 2. A new exhaust was fitted about 2 months ago and the tyres are all matched and in good condition.
The interior is excellent and of course very comfy. I wont bore you all with the little bits that have been fixed, I do have a thread here that you can review:

Its not totally mint but a very good, reliable and I'd say better than normal W124. Engine runs very well indeed. I'm sure I've missed a lot, but of course any issues just ask.
I'm asking £1800 for her which I think is fair. I paid less but have spent some good time and money on her to get her here too. I think that price is cheap for what she is but I do hope someone will look after her.
(note the chrome surround has gone! yay!)
