Not really up on the VW scene and not a member of VZI so thought I would ask here.
My oldest pal has a very nice Porsche 718 replica. Currently he is running on 4 stud and wants to convert to wide 5's for a more authentic look.
Rears are sorted using a spacer from Early VW and Europarts drums.
Fronts has disks already and wanted to know, could I just purchase wide 5 disks and use the existing callipers etc or does he have to lub up and purchase the £800 kits that I have seen?
I will be doing the work because he is a plum, just want to make sure that I don't open up a huge can of worms.
Appreciate any advice and pointers.
