Additional Information:Just finished a thorough refresh of this red non sunroof 91 GT2 with 125k miles. It has MOT until Nov 16. I picked this up locally as the owner had passed away and have enjoyed working on it. Sadly the late owners wife shredded all paperwork which undoubtedly included anything related to the car. I have checked the MOT history and it has passed the last half dozen tests with no advisories noted so that seem's promising to it having been looked after well.
Interior:
I stripped out the interior and thoroughly cleaned the carpets and trim, drivers seat has had the cover replaced and it's all looking very nice and standard.Decent JVC CD player fitted.
Exterior:
Thorough clay and clean then machine buffed so a nice shine and it's certainly very presentable, some crazing to paint on the passenger front wing and the expected dings and dangs of a 24 year old car.Nice MSW alloy wheels fitted ( actually OZ), badgeless grille, eyebrow spoiler and twin exit sports exhaust which sounds nice but is not too loud.
Mechanicals:
Full service carried out, new oil ,filters, rotor arm, coolant flange replaced and new coolant added. Old carb was not working properly so a replacement Pierburg has been fitted and it now runs really well with the autochoke working as it should. Sticker on cam cover shows a gates cambelt kit was fitted at 75k. No leaks from the rocker cover or anywhere else but a new gasket is supplied.
To sum up it's a really decent, clean and solid example that's useable on a daily basis.these are getting quite rare and values are starting to climb Car is located in Liverpool and I can do pick up's from train station etc
