Hi all, I have bought a new car as the Peugeot was vexing me royally and now its up for sale.
Its a 1994 Mardi Gras TD (1.6GTi chassis) that I have fitted an XUD9TE (1.9 Turbo Diesel) engine to. It also has a GTi front bumper.
List of new parts:
Brake Master Cyl,
Brake discs Pagid zinc coated,
Brake pads Pagid
Rear Drums,
Rear wheel bearings,
Rear shoes,
Shoe fitting kit,
Wheel cyls,
Front Springs (35mm drop)
Front shocks lip gas,
Front Poly bushed wishbones with new boots,
Drop links,
Track rod ends,
ARB polybushed,
Alternator (bigger 306 unit brand new Valeo)
Alternator belt,
Timing belt kit (gates),
Water pump (gates),
Head unit with aux input and usb Pioneer,
Recent oil and filter Lucas oil and Bosch filter.
Fuel filter.
Stainless exhaust rear pipe,
New tyres BF Goodrich G grip on front,
205 1.6 GTi alloys in superb condition,
Boost gauge, water temp gauge and oil pressure gauge (oil pressure not attached to sensor)
Volt gauge,
Bosch 027 Battery relocated to boot.
Electronic PAS pump from 206 fully working and on maunal switch.
Glow plugs,
Valeo 3 piece Clutch kit and release fork,
List of spare parts:
Alternators x2 both working (1 205, 1 306)
Intercooler top mount,
Inlet manifold, Xantia one for a FMIC,
Turbo (freshly rebuilt),
PAS pump,
MANY hoses, breathers and fuel pipes,
WHEELS! I have a set of 5 13" steels 2 with good tyres, 2 with massive knobbly snow/mud tyres and a set of 15" Steels off a 207 ripe for banding.
Interior is in pretty good nick, just a small tear on the drivers seat. Electric windows work.
No structural rust on the shell though it is a little scruffy.
Bonnet cable is snapped.
Reason for such a cheap price....
Alas there is something wrong with the timing/fuel pump/engine/injectors. It has become very hard to start and knocks when cold however once warm it runs pretty well. It can be driven away as I have done about 200 miles in it since it started mis behaving.
This car is so close to being right, I have just run out of patience with it. Someone with some knowledge and time can probs time it up properly, check the injectors and pump and probably have a really sorted and potent little car.
A steal given how many new parts you're getting for your £500 and you can simply drive it away! Pics to follow shortly.
