I never thought I'd see the day that I'd look at one of these Protons and think its cool. I stand corrected this is such a cool idea and it's come out looking awesome! Nice work! Why thank you. People say that about most of my car choices by the time i've finished them.

That's great - thanks. As an InitialD fan I'm more than happy with the black & white. If you get bored with that you could do a mickey take of a US cop car Japanese police car is even closer. this is where I thought this was heading when it popped up on instagram

Filled up with petrol and after a panic over the windscreen washer pump being broken I realised I’d painted over the jets Cleaned them up with a needle and all good. Got good reactions at the petrol station too. See you tomorrow. I’ll leave you with the latest Acty update photo from the body shop...

Hey. I'm a long-time serial lurker on this forum, and love what you did (and are doing...) with the Acty. In fact, so much so, that I've just bought a 1984 Acty pick-up!
It's really straight and original and only needs a few bits and pieces. Information is quite hard to come by on these things, and I'm trying to determine what the cambelt interval is, and if the EH engine is an interference unit. Any ideas?
Keep up the great work!

A like button is all very well, but for some things, we need a love button.
I did think about re-wording that, but there you go.

Hi Good news on the purchase, not many straight ones left! Afraid I don’t know the answers to either but I do have a handbook at home that I can check.

Steve Likewise, cheers for dropping by. I look forward to seeing you make progress in your projects or if you take on a lighter intermediate project Was good to put a name to the face over the weekend - keep up the good work! Cheers. Yours is looking good, got a photo or two. Show was top drawer as per all RR shows. Excellent work HoTWire and all the team. Good catching up with familiar faces and meeting new. My car got lots of good mixed reviews and it was good fun watching people trying to work out what it was. I think the front grill shape and rear lights are the biggest give away. Got a few thumbs ups on the drive back and I watched a Lamborghini Huracán pass me only to be surprised that the passenger was filming me. (It had stickers for Eagle Rally on so hoping to find the owner)

I think the front grill shape and rear lights are the biggest give away. if 'twas mine the first thing i would do would be swap that grill for a home brewed slatted one to really confuse the confusable! glad everyone had a good time...

Fit a smiths rev counter to the steering column, and also a cheap bucket seat to the drivers side only
