M8's putting up his Standard 12 as overfaced with projects. No px's, outright sale only, no ridiculous offers he's not desperate. Full honest no BS details tomorrow. Not seen it closely yet. 99% complete allegedly. Watch this space! Front opening window. This is missing operating chain and apparently inner moulding missing that goes round front screen. Thx Ian Ok with the greatest intentions I walked 2 miles to take photos. Got there to find the car is not in a position to take photos properly. Typical barn find situation, couldn't even get my slim legs past front wheel nevermind body. I've taken a couple of seductive teaser shots! Update on this I've asked owners dad to get him to pull his finger out and clear junk off it. I'll be off work for a week on Friday so hopefully will get it out in daylight. Then I can describe it properly and take loads of pics.
Had a living nightmare the other day as left home then realised house keys were in house still. Ended up breaking front window of house when it fell on me in middle of torrential downpour and hit crowbar I was using as Key!
End result ripped fleece, soaked clothing, wet shoes etc. Thx Ian

Thx CFMania that's a great help and awesome link.
The rodded versions look way cool.
Reminds me of 30's Rover 75 a bit.
I think when I see it cleared off I'd probably fall in love with it?

I can tell you it's not a '36/'37, it's '38/'39 or '46/'47 I can't even confirm it's a car from photos I put up. Share your knowledge please cadillac? Owner was told it's a 36 but as said he never got logbook. All I know is it's rod operated brakes and is covered in junk. Went down again for nobody to be in yesterday. I've Pm'ed you for more information btw! Thx Ian

Has it got side vents in the bonnet? pre war had, post war didn't. Thx that would make sense and I have a feeling the gap in production would mean the Standard factory was producing munitions? Once I get a proper look at it I'll clarify. The owner may have been misinformed. Thx for help Ian
