Ha Hilux cheap? In the UK? Nope.
Its 1200 quid for rust and a logbook.
Also if I have a budget of 1500 quid where am I gonna get the 500 quid for an RB25DE? Also why that? Suerly the RB20DET has more potential. Plus I don't like engine swaps. They never go to plan. And unless you buy a whole donor car for £££ they can be an unknown quantity. S13s are sooooo scene its unreal also prices have doubled in the last 8-9 years.

Well given my need for a new car with the Peugeot acting up I have made my purchase..........  Its an IS200 that I said I wasn't a fan of..... Only its not. Its an IS300 SportCross (Estate) solving the 2 things I didn't fancy about the IS200. Lack of power and lack of space. I know its not awful retro but I was on the cusp of a W203 C270CDI so it's saved me from that. I am still in the market for all of the above but at least now I can wait till the time/car is right! More pics and a 'build' thread (more like a service and put fancy wheels on thread) coming sooon! Did I mention LSD, for sideways roundaboot fun! |

Its surprisingly impressive! The front passenger folds along with the back seats so I got some 10ft wood planks in with room to spare. Its not quite as van like as a proper estate but its not a joke like the saloon.  |
