Volvo 850 Estate
2.3 petrol FIVE CYLINDER with auto box. Starts first turn and pulls good.
115 000 miles with history.
Selling on behalf of a friend who left it on my mums driveway November 2014 after buying a newer one. It then didn't move until last week when it had to be shifted to make way for my 635. Much to everyones surprise it fired up FIRST TURN with a jumper pack and then drove about without a hitch (on private property of course). This is why it is for sale and not headed to the scrapper, it really is too good!
Mega comfy leather interior. No rips or tears but could do with a clean. Did I mention that it's mega comfy? Also it has win door handles. And wood. This thing is actually nice.
Bodywork is rolid as a sock with no rot to be found. Couple of dings here and there and a big dent in the boot lid (still opens / closes / locks just fine).
Suspension and steering are basically good but I think a front wheel bearing is starting to get a bit tired and apparently the steering rack needs looking at but I couldn't see why. New rear shocks fitted a few hundred miles ago.
It is a bit electrically challenged and need a new battery. The dashboard electrics are there and do work. Sometimes. Not investigated but it's probably dodgy earths.
Tyres all look good. Alloys are basically mint.
We need shot of the car asap as the house is for sale.
If I didn't live 2 hours away I'd put it through an MOT but my loss is your gain. I couldn't see what it would fail on.
£150 or PX / swap for MK2 Golf parts, tools, anything BL or interesting considered.
