Here for sale is a Renault Express/Extra van. I'm advertising it on behalf of a retired friend of mine who has used it for odd jobbing the last few years. It has a 1.9 ( non-turbo ) engine and had been trouble free since being in Michael's ownership other than needing a new clutch a few years ago at about 100,000 miles-it is now just turned over 118,000 miles.
The van is low miles and not the usual battered multi owner vehicle ( only 3 previous owners ) its not new but is a reliable and honest little van that will go on for years to come. It has seat covers fitted and a Radio/CD player. All the tyres are in excellent condition and have thousands of miles left in them. The roof bars will remain fitted. The van drives really well and is very economical to run. I have receipts for a few bills and lots of old Mot's to verify the mileage. The van is Mot'd till September 28th 1016 and has covered less than 1500 miles since its last Mot.
I reckon this little van would make a great retro ride with a set of steel wheels and a tad lower stance...failing that its a great little runabout.
