I see a few in this site have travelled to America Whats the advarage cost for a couple / family of 4 To vagas and Texas for a couple weleks looking around visting car related stuff

I've just come back from Florida 3 weeks I booked everything of the net didn't go to a third party family of 4 adults Flights were with Virgin 480 quid each Car through thrifty brand new dodge charger hemi 450 quid inc 150 road toll waiver Villa 1200 with pool Insurance through post office Drove 1200 miles on 80 dollars fuel is cheap as chips I spent more on parking Went to Orlando old town car show (every we'd and sat night ) Lakeland car show and swap meet Kayaking with gators and snakes Theme park (universal tick it actually gives access to 3 parks inc wet n wild),car shows were free or next to nothing/did a few plane museums too kermis weeks and stallion 51/rodeo and county fair Daytona bike week ,NASA , oak ridge shooting range , It's the first time I've been on a plane and I'm now hooked can't wait to go back to another part of the states

Vegas is grim. It's like Blackpool, but on crack. Not sure it's much of a place for kids.

Vegas is awesome, as long as you stay somewhere pleasant. Carwise though there is only a modest amount going on (there is a raceway and some other events through the year), unless you go in the first week of November, because then SEMA is on Really for car stuff nothing can beat California, it is a cliche to say but it really is the home of great car culture. However there is stuff to find everywhere in the States for car stuff.

I live in the northeast and even up here if you look there are loads of events going on.
but sadly today it is snowing again.
