Up for sale is my Rover SD1 2600s Automatic. It's been my everyday car for a while now, and all through winter it's been amazing, never let me down.
It's an early 1981 SD1, one of the first Series 2's but I've made it look like a later SD1 Vitesse because I like them but can't afford one. MOT'd for just over 6 months it's good to go and will drive anywhere.
I fitted a Vitesse front spoiler, rear spoiler and lowered it on uprated springs to -60mm.
It runs well, drives spot on, and sounds...loud. It's got a side exit exhaust, so people know you're coming. It passed an MOT easily and is solid underneath so no horrors there.
Bad points? Yep...there are some. The paint is tired/crazed/faded and there are some small rust bubbles on the doors and wing lips. Nothing serious though. The rear windows and sunroof don't work, and the starter is noisy but keeps starting the car so I've left it alone.
All in all its a good usable retro car, getting harder to find and very high in cool points.
Anyone interested come and have a look.
Offers around £1350
