That time of the week again, what are your plans for the weekend? My main plan is to be at the Goodwood Members Meeting on Sunday, much camera (and maybe video) equipment will be taken, got a new 500mm lens I want to try on track stuff. Saturday I may find enough time to do some more on my dashboard modifications, I really need to box up my wheels to get them sent off to be turned into splits too. *edit* Just realised it is almost the weekend today, and it is worthy of note that Simon and I will be recording another Podcast today What car stuff are you up to?

Must, finish, track shed!
Either that or i am going to be running up the hillclimb and no one wants to see an "office fit" 30 odd year old man sweating up a hill

I had loads of plans for this weekend, involving both the E39 daily and the Mk3 Escort, but unfortunately my spine seems to have decided that my plans didn't match up to its desires, and so a bout of sciatica has reduced me to a figure resembling a 90 year old version of the hunchback of Notre Dame..... Wouldn't be so bad if Esmerelda would pay a visit.....

I fancy a drive to the coast in the avant. I've started to think about doing this once a month on payday. No jobs need doing on the car, bikes or van so no spannering to do. I might have a look around my relay van. I bought it to use to haul motorbikes to the drag racing events, but I can no longer afford to race bikes so it's just sat there. I've slept in the back of the van a few times at the drag strips, and I fancy turning it into a semi camper. I want to design a basic camper idea, but something that can be rapidly turned back into a working van if I need to move motorbikes around.

And I'll be trying to remember how to a wire a BMW E52 engine into a Triumph 2000 MK1, along with fitting a 2nd hand wiring loom!

Sorting out a certain some body's front coilovers, hopefully getting the electrickery install in the garage closer to getting up and running, and having a look at the side panel press tool. Would have liked to have done Goodwood, but seeing I had my head stuck up my glutemus Maximus,I missed out on tickets.....

Yesterday the missus went to visit her folks for four days, essentially giving me 96 hours of freedom! 24 hours in and I've purchased two cars.
The next 72 hours should probably be spent finding her a suitable gift for her return, or finding me somewhere to sleep til it all blows over!

I've been taking photos at Oulton Park all day today, and I'm taking photos of a Track Attack at Three Sisters tomorrow. The rest of the weekend will be spent processing them!

Helping my wife restore some furniture for her business tomorrow then if I get time after might try and clean the 309 as the front wings are covered in oily hand marks from all the work of done on it recently. Sunday will be family stuff, possibly going to the coast or to a skate park so the boys can have a go on there balance bikes on the ramps.

In between working, it's more oil changes for me! The MX5 this time. I want to sort the brakes out too, and make a start on getting the bodywork ready for paint. Seeing all the photos of friends drifting last weekend got me really itching for some skidding.
