That is amazing!!!! have you read the story, "This car was bought from Lancia in 1988 and imported to the UK through London. The collector stored the S4 alongside a Metro 6R4, Peugeot 205 T16 and a galaxy of exotic machinery for 15 years. " i want to be that bloke!! "mmmm shall i take out the S4 or the T16 mabe the 6R4!" lifes not fair.

That is indeed a very nice car!! It does sound as if it was a casualty of the '80s "future classic" boom though - yuppies started buying up sports cars and putting them in storage, as prices were rocketing and nobody thought the bubble would burst. I reckon the guy probably lost loads on them come the 90s. I don't feel sorry for most of them as they weren't collectors or enthusiasts - they just saw it as a way to make a load of cash (hence why a lot of them have delivery mileage only). I dunno though maybe the guy was a genuine enthusiast, although I'd expect a genuine enthusiast to put plenty of mileage on a machine like that!! We can thank the yuppies for one thing though - at least we'll be uncovering "time-warp classics" in the future thanks to their greed!!

I agree, it's great when capitalism gets it wrong, so lets all throw it in their face and buy classics off them for practically nothing! That'll show 'em for exploiting the poor of the world! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
