Hi everyone, just after some advice on the above title & thought here would be the best place to start.. Ive had a project in mind for a while now & it involves buying a donar vehicle. Is there a dedicate site or company that sell write offs or stolen recovered etc etc, lve tried Motorhog but they don't get many of the cars l have in mind as its kinda classed as a high end sports car.. shhhh no more hints  Cheers Nick |

Neighbour buys Cat D or C write offs for his own and family use.
Always gets them from dedicated web sites which auction on behalf of insurance companies so don't think you will find anywhere that you can simply go and pay a fixed price. Insurance companies will want as much as possible for the write off and auctions are how they will go about that.
Anywhere that has "stock" of suitable cars will have bought at these very same auction so you will pay more for the privilege.

Copart is the best best way to go. I buy lots. They've had lots of good stuff in recently. Bentley GT, Flying Spur, Maserati Quattroporte, Ferrari 458 Italia, lots of 911s, RS4/RS5/RS6, M5 etc.
Not all of what they sell are write-offs, but even the ones that aren't will likely have some light damage or an issue somewhere.
