So I haven't been on here for a long time but feel I need to get back into it. A year ago I moved to Ashford and I know no like-minded folk around here. I feel I'm losing my mojo a little so could really do with finding some fellow car nuts.
I'm honestly happy just for the community, the occasional little meet or trip out etc, but would also be interested in a workshop share or whatever is about.

I used to live Iin Ashford, only moved a short drive away. What type of car do you own? Don't no of any meets in the area. I do most of my work in my own garage.

I'm mainly a SAAB man, two 9000s one of which is a welding and repaint project. Also an MX5 bought to go on track, a classic mini project and a Viva HC project. So all sorts.
I have a rickety old garage in the garden and a Clarke 'pop up' garage I try to do my best with but it's not ideal. The plan is to tear it down and build a double garage with double driveway, but God knows when that might happen.

I love minis, iv always wanted one just never had room for one, i also had a MX5 (great fun to drive) . My current vehicles are a peugeot van for work, seat leon for the family run around and a R33 nissan skyline that i have owned for 12 years for my toy. If you ever get around to the double garage I'm a builder so might be some use.

I love Skylines, an R33 GTR in MPP is my absolute must have. I came very close to blowing my savings on a low-mileage, original S3 just after I bought my house but couldn't do it.
Thanks mate, I might send you a PM when I get close to it. I was going to buy a wooden garage, insulate and board it and use half as a workshop as I can't afford to do it all in brick. I was thinking about getting someone in to put down the concrete though.

Mine is a R33 gtst spec1.5 it's been modified by my self and various garages over the years. Doing the concrete should be the easiest bit.

Come up to our medway meets at the Historic Dockyard. Huge turn out of cars, massive bunch of friendly people and only about 20/30 minutes from you down in ashford.
Hopefully this will help restore your mojo.

I've got an mgc, it's in storage over in faversham but with no power or light... somewhere closer and more accessible would be ace.
