I'll first introduce myself, I'm Jurgen from the Netherlands, I'm 30 years old, and own an Opel Manta GSI for already more than 10 years. Never drove it myseld, but since a couple of years i'm busy with rebuilding the car. This is the state I bought it from my brother: Then it stood around for like 10 years, resulting in some more rust: I focussed on the technical parts for the past couple of years, because I didn't have any space to have the car at home. So I already have the front/rear axle, gearbox, brakes and motor almost ready. But last year I finally bought a house, and took the car home. And bought my self something to make work easier:

I will show some pictures from the past years with things that I have done. This is were I started with the front axle: Started of with sandblasting every part: Took out al the bushes: Ready for new bushes: Cutted out all the reinforcement parts: Made some of the bushes myself: And welded the reinforcement parts: Blasted the hubs and put new studs in: Shortened the domes, because it's lowered -80mm: Then I took of the engine mounts and welded them in the correct position for the new engine: Here are all the parts: Putted on the brakes 296x28mm disks, with Brembo 4 pot calipers:

Great work!
If you're anywhere near Nijmegen keep any eye out at the end of May as there'll be a load of Imps invading the area from the 25th - 30th May.

Thanks for all the lovely replies. I'm now busy with the chassis, sanding down the outside, and scratching down the bottom and wheelarches. So we can start welding afterwards. I have some more pictures of the past, which I will post. Here a little sneak preview of the engine:
