Sadly its a capri axle so about 3 inches wider once you add the big capri drums etc.
I only seem to have one set of shafts.
I checked on GS Escorts website and they have a set of 3.09:1's on at £80 + the planet gear non LSD for £20.
I reckon on putting this back together and storing it for later use. All the brackets have been removed from both these axles, no spring plates, no brake line clips, just stumps. I do have the parallel bar mount plates for a four link to be welded on ... that'll be fun. I do have a couple of other projects lurking in the wings that may be able to make use of it but I think it's overkill in the 1600 Legerra.
The CWP set on it is a 3.75:1.
I do have a 3.09:1 CWP as well but the pinion is in the other axle.
I'll have to go digging to find the origins of the two different ratio's, they are blatantly not compatible with each other as the 3.75 CROWN wheel is twice as thick as the 3.09 and the pinion is a totally different size.
