I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. The details I have only tell half the story, if you're interested, you'll need to speak with Rob as he knows this car inside out and has spent the last 9 years making it what it is. PM me on here for his contact details.
Couple of pics to pique your interest
The base is a 1972 Opel Manta A with manual conversion using (I think) Sierra gearbox & diff.
This is built as a track ready road car with certified safety devices cage, Recaros, 4-point quick release harnesses and remote brake bias adjustment running on Toyo T1-Rs. It's entirely stripped of any unnecessary weight with a ally race fuel tank and relocated battery in the boot. Sunroof has been welded up and the dash is minimal, basic door cards etc.
Engine: 2.0l Red Top with ITBs and custom equal primary/secondary exhuast (will remember the builder at some point), electronic ignition management unit, lots of revs, lots of induction noise, lots of speed.
There's loads more that can be said about this car but it's best coming from the man himself,
It really is a lovely motor, get in touch if you're serious about finding out more,
Cheers,
Sam
