Hi all,
I'd like to remake the speaker pods in the picture. These are pretty blunt. I'd like to make them the same (speaker, pod, and angle wise), only transitioning the pod onto the panel smoothly with about an inch all around as a clear/flat edge for mounting purposes.
Left one is in right orientation, right one isn't but shows it's shape well.
I'm basically asking how to procede from the point of having the pod secured to the panel.
I could put a pantyhose over it and fibreglass over that. That would need filler before being smooth enough to either paint or cover in vinyl.
I could box it in, use PUR foam to build up some foam that can be sanded to shape before applying fibreglass.
I have no experience with either and I'd like to do this exercise just once! Well technically twice, ;-)
So who's got some good advice?
