Hi Folks,
I have a Volvo Amazon project which I have partially restored for sale.. unfortunately I moved it from my mates workshop when I moved house 2 years ago & it's sat gathering dust in my garage ever since. I'm now working away through the week so progress is not going to be made any time soon & I want to get something I can enjoy for the summer.
The car is a red 121 saloon with the B18 engine with single carb.
As above its an unfinished project and as such there's some work to be done to get this car back on the road. I've already completely replaced the N/S inner wing, cowl, front floor & outrigger. I've sorted most of the sill, except for the outer sill which I have the repair panel for. The O/S will need inner wing and front & rear floor pans sorted (repair panels supplied). Repair panels for just about any bit of the car can be got from Brookhouse Volvo or Scancar if you prefer to use them.
The rear arches need work.. the N/S has a section cut out which I never got round to sorting yet.
Paint is ok for a car of this age, although obviously I've stripped bits of it back where I've carried out repairs.
Engine always ran well, even still running great after sitting up for 2 years as can be seen in this vid I took the other week:
vid.me/HFQs
It was my plan to put in a B230 injection turbo from a 940, which I have (along with most the ancillaries) which can be thrown in if I get a sensible amount, although I no longer have the M90 gearbox to mate up to it.
I have a huge amount of spares to come with it.. see the boxes in the photos in the album. I'll list some of the bits below:
M40 gearbox (Should actually have 2 once I get round to digging through workshop), 2x SU carbs plus manifolds & linkages required to convert to a twin carb setup (from before my plan to go B230). Inner wing, rear floor & outer sill repair panels. Spare speedometer, seat webbing, seals for window / doors / bonnet
All other bits currently off the car are there (scroll through album) boxed up and fit inside either the boot or in the car. The windscreen is currently off but present.
Folder full of history, along with a Haynes thrown in for good measure. V5C in my name present.
Priced to sell.. this car cost me a lot more and comes with a lot of bits which could have been sold off separately but the new owner can decide to with fit them, keep as spares or punt on ebay. While this is in no doubt a bit of work, its by no means a basket case & at least you can see what needs done more than some of the 'barn finds' going on ebay.
Some pics embedded here, but if you want to see the full album including all the bits & pieces go here:

Here's how it could look again:
For history on the work I've already done see my thread at the Volvo forum here:

Obviously this car isn't going to be driven home, but the engine & brakes work just fine so can be driven on the back of a trailer or transporter no bother.
Any questions feel free to ask away..
