Yea, another V5C related question, pretty straightforward, Need to apply for the logbook for my BMW as its been lost by Royal Snail, have V5C/2, no issues.
Logbook is currently Tax class Disabled. DVLA don't seem to automatically take cars off Disabled tax class. I Need to change this for obvious reasons, in the 'Tax class' box on the V62 can I simply put down PLG or am I literally going to have to wait for it to arrive and then send it off again?
Cheers!

Might be worth either ringing them up or asking in a friendly post office. When you have got the log book I have been told you can change the tax class when you go to tax the car at the post office.
Not sure what you can do if you need to do it in a hurry, perhaps the same applies if you want to tax it using the new keepers slip. I'm sure they have an easy way to do it if there is a chance of getting money from you.

I know I can change the tax class at a post office, I have done it many times before for myself and also for work (work for a used car dealer) but it still involves sending the V5 back to the DVLA again. Dez has made a point of saying that as the logbook isn't currently in my name they shouldn't be able to make any changes so I'm going to apply for the book as disabled and will just change when I tax. Thanks for the input guys
