Heya guys, I must have been lurking on here for ten years but this is the first time I have posted a ride, owened a 68 Beetle for years. Anyway here is my newly aquired 88 740 TD, my first proper RWD non Dub too. I love the sound of her I6 Diesel. More pics to follow...  |

That is a very true, I forgot the mill is VAG, I even said to myself it's nice to keep a toe in.
Plans are to use it really as its my daily, going to get her pro waxoyled and just replace little bit's as I go. The headliner has been done which is great and the engine was rebuilt 25k ago, it's even had Koni dampers fitted.

Sod the waxoyl, have a chat with Craig at Buzzweld, some serious stuff for rust proofing, and unlike waxoyl you'll only ever need to do it once.
I'm not making anything out of it, just impressed with the results of using the stuff.
