Hi, I think it is time to reluctantly sell my 190e.
I bought this car back in August 2015. The plan was to modify it and have it ready for show season this year, but over the past 6 months I have realised that it just doesn't get driven as much as it should. I realistically drive it maybe once every 3 weeks and thats just to the shop and back. It needs to go to somebody who can give it a little more love than i can or it will sit outside and deteriorate and that would be a massive shame as it's a well looked after car.
The bodywork is in great condition, paintwork is pristine. The only faults are a 20p piece of bubbling on the rear door at the top of the sacco panel and for whatever reason, a previous owner has tried to touch up the paint work around the aerial and its a shade too light, it has never bothered me, both of these are pictured within the photos i have attached.
Mechanically the car is very sound, the gearbox is automatic and the Last MOT was in august just after i'd bought it and it sailed through with no advisories :-). The car is very slightly lowered and I have replaced some bits such as: rotor arm, dizzy cap, coolant temp sensor (all genuine parts) and a few others, but apart from those the car is as i purchased it.
It has grey cloth interior and you may see it has an aftermarket Mountney steering wheel and boss fitted, i have the original wheel and will be refitting that unless you want the aftermarket wheel for an extra price.
It is sitting on Mercedes 15 hole alloys, 6.5J x 15" ET49 up front and 7J x 15" ET25 at the rear, they're staggered making the rear fill the arch slightly better. I do have a set of W211 Super Light alloys that i intended to fit and matching custom wheel bolts, as the wheels were made to take a 14mm thread, to fit the 190e i bought some 12mm threaded bolts with a 14mm seat to fit the w211 wheels, you can have these for an extra price if you want.
MOT until August 2016, FSH, Pearl Grey Metallic, a folder full of receipts and documentation including original Mercedes booklet and service record.
It's a really cheap to run car and fast becoming a great classic!
