Up for sale here is my 1999 Mercedes w210 300td Elegance E Class Estate. This car has been very well looked after and is very straight with very little rust-it is not the usual w210 rotbox-check the MOT history online, there have been no advisories for rust.
It is solid underneath and has MOT til December 2016. Approx. 150k miles
Usual Elegance spec-cruise, heated leather, dual zone climate control etc
Absolutely loads of history including a bill for a full respray for £2750 in 2008 and £1500 to fit the Merc Sat nav/TV Comand unit/CD changer which works but has a faulty screen)
Parrot Bluetooth kit fitted.

3 days after I bought this the cylinder head went. A reconditioned head with new stem oil seals and reground valves was fitted-bills are provided for around £500 in total for this work. The engine is now in excellent condition and uses no oil or water.
All filters were done at the same time and oil and coolant flushed and replaced
Gearbox has had new filter and oil change-genuine Merc parts used
Anti roll bar bushes fitted by me, 2 front springs also done in the last year.
The rear exhaust box has been removed and replaced with a straight pipe-this gives a lovely burble and some more power, it is not however intrusive in the cabin.
Bad points.
The front arches have a little rust around the edges. There is a spot of rust below the rear screen. The glow plug warning light came on in the last month or so. The glow plugs were tested when the head was rebuilt and were fine. They have been in there for less than 8k miles and were fitted with copper grease so replacement should be straightforward. New Bosch Duratherms come with the car. The car starts fine even in freezing conditions.
Faulty screeen on Comand unit. Radio/CD changer works
The aircon was drained during the engine work and has never been refilled.
