Selling my Audi 80cl, been in daily use for the last year with no mechanical problems until last week but unfortunately the gearbox is stuck in 4th gear.
The car has had all the rear axle mounting points replaced before the last mot which is what killed most of these cars off as they are a problem area that collects dirt and rots out. Passenger sill was also done with both rear quarters. The car has 4 new Falken tyres fitted a couple of months ago. Oil/filter changed two weeks ago along with spark plugs. Starts great in all weathers and the engine is spot on and pulls well. Low mileage as stated only 65k with documentation and history to back it up. Still has the running in procedure sticker on the inside of the windscreen.
interior is clean and tidy with no holes and has the hottest heater known to man !
Car comes with the sport front spoiler as shown in the picture on alloys but it is not fitted. Also a retro style alloy roof rack included. Car comes on the steel wheels.
Mot is until June I think, not sure if car could be driven but you'd need to slip the hell out of the clutch till about 15/20mph and then you'd be fine. ?
as I said the gearbox is jammed in 4th - a replacement is on eBay for £80 at the moment so a cheap fix if you've got the time.
negative points - drivers sill needs a patch for next mot.
rust under rear lights - common spot on the audis.
Gearbox as said.
Water getting into drivers side rear footwell - started a couple of weeks ago in the heavy rain and I haven't gotten round to sorting it.
Suspension - bit of a work in progress. One coilover converted front strut and one with a spax lowering Spring. On the rear one side has had a coil cut out other side is still spax. The dampers are all Spax adjustable Gas shocks. Parts are included to either convert the other front shock to a coilover or the original spring and cup to return the modified side to the std Spax setup.


Last picture is to show the front spoiler - it doesn't come on those wheels and they're not available sorry.
