Up for grabs is my Rover 100 "Metro" Track Car fitted with the 160 BHP K Series VVC engine. The engine has done very low miles and pulls like a train! At 800kg with this power they will keep up with things like stripped out Clio 182's etc on track and are easy on fuel, brakes etc due to the low weight. They do 0-60 in around 6 seconds! Our one has been timed at 5.8 with professional equipment and has done a 1/4 mile in 14.6 seconds!
The hydrogas suspension is lowered/uprated and individualised and the brakes are uprated to Metro GTi/MGF front vented discs/calipers with EBC yellow stuff pads and uprated fluid. The shell is a very solid 3 door shell in white with no sunroof , which requires no welding whatsoever. Interior has been stripped except for 2 standard seats. The car has race harness for driver and passenger and comes with 4 genuine Rover alloys shod with nearly new Yokohama track tyres . This is a brilliant track car , which performed faultlessly last time out a Cadwell Park in December. The car comes with a V5 but no MOT and could easily be turned in to a road car if the new owner so wished. Alternatively I also have some performance upgrades to further improve the lap times , which are available by separate negotiation.
