I often wonder if anyone reads the stuff I put on here !
Seeing your car has made me wish I still had my Viva but that was about 25 years ago now.
How much work have you had to do on the body. Mine had started going rusty where the bonnet hinges attach to the inner wings and the boot floor was a bit crispy in places. The sills were OK though and there was just a bit of filler in the front wings from what I remember.

Doesn't sound too bad. I haven't got any pictures of mine, didn't have a camera and phones were only for ringing people on ! MIne was L reg and had rubber flooring in it. Looked lovely after a good coat of shoe polish.

Cool project, Ill be keeping an eye on this! I will be sticking a c20let in the Firenza this year...or maybe next as the misses has decided we need to move Btw early C20XEs had 156bhp, not 167 and that was primarily the lack of a cat not cams.

gazz81 havent decided what management yet probly stick with stock for now as ecu is allready superchiped up and inlet looks rather nice lmao
jamin008 From what i been told by ex vauxhall employee the early c20xe's had 167 and the early cams where slightly different as was the internals on the head, but he could be wrong
THIS c20xe has been in 9 of my mk3 cavs an all of them 0-60mph was around 6 secs thats wen it was a 2 litre
Soon to be a 2.3 when i dig other block out
