don't look like watanabes to me mate, look like ultralites which are just a company that produce replicas of minilights etc for mini's. They look too new to be old J wheels so I'd say they're reproductions. Just my opinion may be wrong.

Hello matey, I did some digging with the guy you're buying off. My best guess was Panasport C8 based on the number of bolt holes and face design, however I was sure that Panas' had the face stamped, though I wasn't completely certain

Cheers for the replies guys, I still don't think they're panasports. If you look at the valves location, they're in the location the BR wheels have them, the Panas have them on the rim separated completely. And they have nowhere near enough dish to be minilights...looks like they're staying un-named haha!

Genuine Japanese Reps very true that the br's are reps, but the same could be said for wats, as they are essentially reps themselves being loosely based on the original minilite design. Both sets of br rims I have had are 3 piece, not welded together and a doddle to split. I have also had some staggered wats rs-8s and some un-known J made reps of wats. I think there are a lot of generic reps of this style of wheel out there. Didn't rota make a similar looking wheel also?

I'm sure I saw these on FB with the tag "factory welded splits" I know that's something that SSR and other brands do which essentially makes them not splits.

It's also common for a lot of J splits like ssr rims to have the centres fitted whilst the barrels are hot, thus giving and interference fit, which can make splitting them very difficult.

SOOOO I have found out what they are...a wheel trader told me they are Japanese replicas of BR racing wheels hence no markings. They were mainly used in racing cars so weigh 4.9 kg and have been welded for that very reason.
