 Mud by srblythe, on Flickr The paint has been done in my typical fashion with a roller, it's not pretty but it looks a bit more presentable than it did previously. mot October 2016, Get you home tax and still insured. V5 present. As this is one of the later Lada's it comes fitted with single point fuel injection and a catalytic converter for improved mpg and power. It's best viewing this as a rolling project as there's definitely room for improvement. The discs will need replaced soon and the charging light is illuminated on idle, it goes out when driving, I'm pretty sure it's a loose aux belt causing the issue. The interior is damp and could do with a good clean, it needs the exhaust sorted as it has a rather loud side exit at the moment and the car generally just needs some tlc. It's solid enough and has had a lot of welding carried out by the previous owner and a couple of bits myself. It's great for driving off road and occasional use but I wouldn't fancy driving it daily. Included with the Lada is a Bull-bar with spotlights and a set of plastic wheel arch covers. oh my. Can't imagine this will be for sale for too long.
at the risk of joining the "If only you weren't so far away brigade", i have just checked my journey. 11.5 hour overnight flight, 7 hour train and presumably some other public transport locally and then a 500 mile drive. then another 11.5 hour flight home !!
very, very good luck with this sale - i always enjoy reading about your vehicles.
and, on the slim/no chance that nobody wants this motoring equivalent of a low-rent mountain goat, i'm in the UK in March - we may speak !!
