Here for sale we have my stunning W140 S class, the last of the over engineered well built Mercedes Benz which shows as it still looks the business today unlike the model that replaced it. It is a long wheel base limousine example finished in blue/black metallic which in certain lights can change from green,blue,purple to black the paintwork is in superb condition for it's age and unlike the later models these are not riddled with rust holes. Despite looking like it's on air it is still static, if you're the shy and retiring type this is not the car for you as it receives stares and complements wherever it goes! The interior again is remarkable even through to the original Mercedes mats which still look great.I bought the car 6 months ago as I had always wanted a VIP W140 and luckily found one with the suspension work already carried out, since purchasing I have added the genuine Carlsson 1/6 19" alloys which I have well over £1000 in! I have never driven such a quiet, smooth and effortless car and don't think this era of S class will ever be beaten for that.

I am selling the car as it's one of four I currently own and i'm looking to build a race car this year so really could do with the space. I like to be completely honest when selling any of my vehicles so not to waste anybody's time, this is an old car which has been modified so please do not expect it to drive like a new car!
The bad bits...
This car has been extensively lowered and thus does not drive as well as a standard W140 (obviously!) I have owned many lowered cars and for the ride height in my opinion it does drive very well though as just the springs have been replaced the shocks do knock over bumps in the road, to make perfect a set of uprated shocks would need to be fitted. I have had 5 people in the car and there is no rubbing what so ever in the rear, the front however does rub under full lock. I previously had 35 profie tyres on the front with no rubbing what so ever but the ride was too harsh so I upped them to 40 profiles.
Unfortunately there is a running issue present which I believe to be one or both lamda sensors in the exhaust need replacing as once the car gets up to temperature it can stall when left idling or sat which approaching a junction, I have allowed for this in reflection to the price as I simply do not have the time to sort. The car drives does drive superbly despite this and I have remained using it for the past two months daily despite the running issue. Since fitting the new front tyres they need balancing correctly buy someone that knows what they're doing as there is a slight vibration that starts at 50mph though disappears once above that speed, the W140 is notoriously sensitive to wheel balancing. One of the parking sensors has failed so they beep constantly if being used, there is a switch to turn off however. To summarize its an awesome looking car that with a bit of money spending on it could make a real show stopper.
