I would say this is quite a rare car and honest original car. (often overused terms by some people selling cars but I feel this genuinely is!)
I bought this car in October last year but I am putting her up for sale as I am putting my BMW back on the road.
It has had 6 owners and I have the original Audi wallet with the car and an Audi stamped service history up until 104,000 miles. It also comes with 3 keys! 2x flipkey and masterkey. I have no further paper work with the car.
It has matching tyres across the axles all with around 7mm tread. The quattro system is fully working she pulls well having the 2.8 v6 engine. It's quite amusing seeing the boy racers wonder why they can't shake off grandads car. Almost sleeper ish. Coolant and oil levels are good. Takes a while to warm up so I would suspect it would benefit from a new thermostat.
I get 26-27mpg driving 30 miles a day to and from work on a mixture of dual carriageway and country roads. I took it on 700 mile round trip to cornwall and averaged 32mpg fully loaded up. Although this isn't really a car you should buy if your main priority is economy!
I ran vag-com on the car when I first bought it and it came up with a MAF fault. I fitted a new MAF and it has been perfect ever since. It drives very tightly. Steering is straight and for an old car its a very smooth ride.
The bodywork is ok. Has a few scratches and the lower trim is missing from one of the rear doors. There is no rust as I think these were galvanised at the factory.
I also installed a kenwood headunit with ipod/iphone connectivity with the cable ran through into a pocket above the stereo. I replaced the front door speakers as the originals had perished cones.
It's just a nice genuine car and with the quattro system its perfect for the winter and our rubbish weather. I just don't really need it anymore.
